Die DIJ Social Science Study Group versteht sich als Forum für junge WissenschaftlerInnen und DoktorandInnen aus den Sozialwissenschaften. Um WissenschaftlerInnen aller Nationalitäten die Teilnahme zu ermöglichen, wurde Englisch als Diskussionssprache gewählt. Jeweils am letzten Mittwoch im Monat um 18.30 Uhr werden laufende Forschungsarbeiten in einem etwa 45minütigen Vortrag präsentiert, über den anschließend diskutiert wird.
