Marina Aoki

I am currently pursuing dual degrees in Robotics, Cognition and Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich and in Gerontology at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. My research interest lies in the intersection of both fields, particularly the development and use of assistive technologies for older adults. At the DIJ, I am supporting Celia Spoden with her research on avatar technologies – particularly with respect to inclusivity in schools – and Nicole Müller with her project on extended reality and the relation between fiction and future.
