Japan in Transregional Perspective

During the past few years the DIJ has successively incorporated Japan’s transnational and transregional connections into its research focus. This regional and global contextualization of Japan is reflected in several individual research projects as well as in two multi-institutional research collaborations on Japan in transregional perspective: Borders, Mobility and New Infrastructures and Interaction and Knowledge in the Pacific Region: Entanglements and Disentanglements.
