Religion and Politics in Japan

This workshop brought together experts on “Religion and Politics in Japan” who are working on an edited volume on the topic. Next to presenting and discussing the drafts of the chapters, a former Lower House member of Kōmeitō joined the event to present and discuss his view of how his party and its main support organization, the Buddhist Sōka Gakkai, cooperate.
