Monographien aus dem Deutschen Institut für Japanstudien

The DIJ Monograph Series is a series of monographs compiled and published by the German Institute for Japanese Studies. The series publishes monographs focused on three aspects of the Institute’s work: 1) Compilations of recent symposia by the Institute; 2) Intermediate and final reports of Institute-wide interdisciplinary research projects; 3) Thematic monographs which offer nuanced perspectives on key issues in Japan. The Monographien are published in German or in English, depending on the language spoken at the respective symposium or on the language used by the majority of the contributors.

Within Japan, volumes can be ordered (in limited numbers) directly from the institute: dijbibli@dijtokyo.org

Open Access:
Volumes become open access one year after publication. They can then be downloaded here.
